Snippets AI Billing Policy
At Snippets AI, we offer a flexible and transparent billing system designed to accommodate teams of all sizes. This policy outlines our pricing structure, billing cycles, and seat management rules.
1. Pricing Structure
Snippets AI offers two subscription tiers:
- Pro Plan: $5.99 per seat per month.
- Team Plan: $11.99 per seat per month.
All plans are billed monthly on a per-seat basis.
2. Billing and Payments
- Payments for subscriptions are processed monthly.
- Invoices are issued upon payment and can be accessed through your account.
- All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes, which will be calculated based on your billing location.
We use Euro as the invoicing currency, as it is the standard currency of the European Union. Swedbank serves as our payment gateway. We display our service pricing in USD, and then convert it to Euro using Swedbank's official conversion rate to provide accurate prices to our customers.
If, for any reason, Swedbank's exchange rate service is unavailable, we apply a fixed conversion rate of 1.20.
3. Seat Management and Adjustments

Adding Members: If you add a new member to your team, you will be charged the difference for that seat for the remainder of the current billing period. This means you'll pay a prorated amount until the next billing cycle.
Proration Example: If you add a member on day 15 of a 30-day billing cycle at $11.99/seat, you will be charged approximately $6.00 (50% of the monthly fee) for the remaining 15 days. The full $11.99 will be charged starting in the next billing cycle.

Removing Members: If you remove a member from your team, you will stop paying for that seat starting in the next billing cycle. However, if the member is removed during the current billing cycle, the charge for that seat will not be refunded for the current month.
4. Workspace Roles and Billing Management
Workspace owners can delegate billing responsibilities by assigning team members the 'Admin' role. An Admin is authorized to manage the workspace subscription, which includes processing payments, updating payment methods, and accessing billing history on behalf of the workspace owner.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
- You may cancel your subscription at any time, but refunds will not be issued for unused portions of the billing period.
- If your subscription is canceled, you will retain access to Snippets AI until the end of the current billing period.
6. Failed Payment Handling
If a payment fails for any reason (expired card, insufficient funds, etc.), we will follow this process:
6.1 Grace Period (Days 1-7)
- Retry Attempts: Automatically retry the payment up to 3 times over a 7-day period
- Notifications: Send you email notifications after each failed attempt
- Full Access: You will maintain full access to Snippets AI and your data during this 7-day grace period
- Data Export: You can request an export of your data during this period
- Payment Update: You can update your payment method at any time to resolve the issue
6.2 Account Suspension (Day 7)
If payment is not received after the 7-day grace period:
- Access Revoked: Your access to Snippets AI will be immediately suspended
- Account Locked: You will not be able to log in or access any features
- Data Inaccessible: Your data will be inaccessible, but not yet deleted
- No Service Access: You cannot use any features of the Service
6.3 Data Retention Period (Days 8-37)
After suspension, your data will be retained for an additional 30 days:
- Data Storage: Your data remains stored on our servers but is completely inaccessible to you
- No Access: You cannot view, download, or interact with your data during this period
- Reactivation Available: You can reactivate your subscription at any time during this period
6.4 Reactivation
You can reactivate your subscription during the retention period (days 8-37) by:
- Updating your payment method in your account settings or by contacting us at team@getsnippets.ai
- Completing payment for the outstanding subscription fees
- Upon successful payment, your account will be immediately reactivated and full access to your data will be restored
6.5 Permanent Deletion (Day 37+)
If payment is not received within 37 days of the initial payment failure:
- Permanent Deletion: All your data will be permanently and irreversibly deleted from our systems
- No Recovery: Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered or restored
- Account Closure: Your account will be permanently closed
Important: Snippets AI does not offer a free plan. Access to the Service and your data requires an active paid subscription. We are under no obligation to maintain or provide access to your data without payment.
7. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback with your credit card company instead of contacting us for a refund:
- Your account will be immediately suspended pending investigation
- You may be required to provide documentation supporting your chargeback claim
- Repeated chargebacks may result in permanent account termination
- Please contact us at team@getsnippets.ai before initiating a chargeback so we can resolve any billing concerns directly
8. Changes to Billing Policy
Snippets AI reserves the right to update this billing policy. Any changes will be communicated in advance through email or within the application.
